Welcome to the registration page for the Rockville 10K/5K & Kids' Fun Run!
The City of Rockville, in partnership with the Montgomery County Road Runners Club (MCRRC), welcomes all to participate in this autumn running tradition. Back for its 46th year, the Rockville 10k/5k runs along the streets of the King Farm community on a scenic and challenging, yet rewarding, course. It is an ideal venue to cap off your summer/fall training and kick off the upcoming winter running season. Runners of all abilities are welcome (15:00 min/mile pace enforced to re-open roads to the public in a timely manner - runners falling behind this pace will be moved onto the sidewalk). Walkers are encouraged to participate in the5k distance due to the road closure time restrictions.
Race Day Schedule - Sunday, November 7th:
7:30 AM : Race Day Bib & Shirt Pick-up / Race Day Registration ($45.00)
8:30 AM : 10k start
8:45 AM : 5k start
(Road Closures go into effect at 8:00 AM)
Due to concerns over safety for all participants, the Kids One-Mile Fun Run will not be held this year. Please note that strollers (of any kind) or pets are not permitted on the course for any of the race distances. Participants seen running with either, will be pulled from the course with no refund.
While masks are not currently required outdoors, we do ask all participants to be sensitive to those around you whose comfort level or health situation may be different than yours, especially with our younger volunteers or others who may not have the ability to be vaccinated. As a condition of our race permit, social distancing is STILL required. We strongly encourage all participants to keep a mask with you for use any time proper social distancing cannot be achieved.
Now more than ever, please pay close attention to your health prior to attending this event. If you have been exposed to COVID-19, or another person with COVID-19, please stay home. If you have cold symptoms, a mild fever, or "just don't feel well," we ask that you please stay home. All participants are subject to temperature checks by our race staff, if applicable.
